Should exemplify the ideal of professional public service, have high principles of community preparedness, have a personal dedication to the safety of local citizens, has distinguished them self through outstanding service to the Association or its members, or exhibited an exceptionally high standard of leadership and professionalism during response to a disaster situation. Must be an Association member in good standing.
Emergency Management Professional who at the time of the annual conference has served 24 months or less in the position and during that time has displayed enthusiasm while making specific accomplishments and or improvements in the local program. Must be an Association member in good standing.
This person works directly with the Emergency Manager and should exemplify the ideal of the professional Emergency Manager, have high principles of community preparedness, have a personal dedication to the safety of local citizens, has distinguished them self through outstanding service to the Association of its members, or exhibited an exceptionally high standard of leadership and professionalism as the Emergency Manager would during response to a disaster situation and may fill the role in the event the EM is unavailable. Must be an Association member in good standing.
An individual or group inside or outside of the association who provides critical support or behind the scene services vital to the success of an emergency management organization that go above or beyond routine responsibilities.
Lifetime Achievement nomination
Any regular member who has contributed significantly to the purpose of the Association over a period of years.
